A bit about me and why I started The Sweet Spot

I grew up in Cedar Rapids. Growing up, I have always loved baking. I started making cakes for my family for their birthdays. I loved going all out, doing fun flavors and designs. I got told by my step mom and brother that I should start baking for people as a side gig. I loved the sound of that because I truly love baking and seeing people's smiles. But of course I knew I needed way more practice. 

I found myself finding videos of treat makers constantly. I loved all the fun designs and themes. I knew I wanted to do more than just treats though. So I started The Sweet Spot. It's my way of being able to do fun treats, going all out on design and flavor. All while I can still work on my baking skills to grow my business.
